For Service Providers

Your own Deal, in front of the whole neighborhood. Free.

A Gopher installs a new ceiling light fixture in a neighbor's home

Once you've earned it, you can post a service offer that every neighbor, business, and merchant on Gopher can see and book directly. No lead fees, no business page, no ad budget. We can't find anyone else who does this.

A neighbor posts: "Can anyone do a one-time pickup of two full trash bins?" The guy two streets over who could do it before lunch starts typing a reply, and the app cuts him off: self-promotion isn't allowed here, go to your business page. That's where the neighborhood apps have landed. Gopher went the other way.

Your Deal, on your terms

On Gopher, a Service Provider (the neighbor everyone calls a Gopher) can post a Deal of their own. It's a standing offer: the service, the price you want to earn, and how far you'll travel. "Driveway and walkway pressure wash, $150." "First room painted, $200." You post it free from the Gopher Go app, and it appears under Local Service Provider Deals for every neighbor, business, and merchant on Gopher, and for anyone browsing Deals on the web, up to 50 miles out.

When a neighbor wants it, they tap once and the request lands with you on Gopher Request. A business that likes what it sees can book you through Gopher Connect the same way. Nobody bids against you for it. Nobody sells your name to five other people. It's your card, your price, your customer.

Earned, not bought

There's nothing to purchase and no application. You're eligible the moment you meet all three:

  • A verified badge — Elite, Elite+, or Pro.
  • 20 completed service jobs on Gopher Go. Delivery, ride-sharing, and Other jobs don't count toward the 20.
  • A 4.75-star average over your last 20 service jobs. Same categories.

Meet the bar and the "+ Service Provider Deal" button switches on by itself in your Go dashboard and in the Perks section of the app. Each Deal gets a quick human look before it goes live, and you hear back in your Go inbox. Your performance opens the door. Your wallet never has to.

Compare that to buying leads

  • Lead-gen sites like Thumbtack and Angi charge you per lead, up front, for a job you know little about, from a customer who may never have meant to book. That's their deal, not yours.
  • Neighborhood apps now stop the neighbor who offers to help and send them off to set up a business page, where getting in front of the block is something you buy.
  • Gopher charges you nothing to post and nothing per booking. The customer pays a small 10% Deal Boost on top of your price to find you. The number you set is the number that lands in your bank, the moment the customer confirms the job is done.

One Deal keeps paying

The neighbor who booked your pressure wash now knows your name. They save you as a MY Gopher, so their next request reaches you a full minute before anyone else. They rate you, which is what keeps you eligible. They mention you at the mailbox. And because the same card is visible to every business and merchant on Gopher, the shop owner who saw your Deal can hire you for Friday's crew without ever leaving the app. Every job you do well here makes the next one easier to get.

Getting to the bar

Everything starts in the Gopher Go app: one account, 16 or older, legal name on your bank account, and a payout account connected through Stripe before you can see work. Every Gopher starts as Standard, identity verified through Stripe with a government ID and Social Security number. Elite adds a clean criminal background check, Elite+ adds a clean DMV record, and Pro means licensed, bonded, and/or insured. Any of the three verified badges counts toward Deals, and all three stretch your work radius to 100 miles. Take the jobs neighbors post on Request and the shifts businesses post on Connect, counter when a price doesn't match the work, and keep your rating up. See how the whole marketplace fits together →
